Screen Recorder With Sound

Record your screen with your computer's sound and your voice, then download the video. No sign-up, nothing to install.

Pick what to share and the sound, then press Record.

What to share

  • Your recording never leaves your device.
  • No watermark and no time cap.
  • Ask people before you record them.

Which sound you get

Browsers differ in what sound they let a page record. Here is each one, so you know before you start.

BrowserComputer soundWhat to do in the share window
Chrome 141 or later on a Mac (macOS 14.2 or later)Yes, from a window or the whole screenPick a window or your screen and turn on Also share system audio. No sound driver needed.
Older Chrome on a MacA tab's sound onlyPick A tab and keep Also share tab audio on.
Chrome or Edge on Windows or a ChromebookYesPick your screen and turn on Also share system audio, or pick a tab with tab audio on.
Safari and FirefoxNo, microphone onlyYour voice records. For the computer's sound, open this page in Chrome.
Phones and tabletsNo screen recordingUse your phone's own screen recorder, or open this page on a computer.

How it works

  1. ChooseA window, a tab or your whole screen, and which sound to include.
  2. RecordYour browser asks what to share. After a three-second lead-in, recording starts. Press Stop, or Stop sharing in the browser's bar.
  3. DownloadWatch it back, then save it. Chrome, Edge and Safari save an MP4 file; Firefox saves WebM.
Why did my Mac recording come out silent?

The Mac's own recorders (QuickTime and the Screenshot toolbar) record your microphone but not the sound your Mac plays. Chrome 141 or later on macOS 14.2 or later can share that sound from a window or your whole screen: turn on Also share system audio in the share window. More on recording a Mac with sound.

Where does the video go?

It stays in this browser tab until you download it. Nothing is sent anywhere, and closing the tab before you download throws it away.

How long can I record?

There is no cap. The video is held in your computer's memory until you save it, so for a very long recording, keep other heavy apps closed.
